Ordering & personalisation
How do I pass on a name or personalisation?+
On the product page you choose your own fabric, colour and personalisation (for example a name). Everything you configure shows up right away in your cart.
Not sure about a combination? Just send a message via the contact form.
Can I get a design matched to my birth announcement?+
Yes. For products with that option you can upload your birth announcement. I then follow the typography and style of your card as closely as possible, so the personalisation matches it beautifully.
Can I still change my order?+
Because everything is made to order by hand, production starts shortly after you order. As long as it hasn't started, a change is usually still possible.

How quickly is my birth card reviewed?+
After your order I review your uploaded card as soon as possible (usually within 1-2 working days). You automatically receive an email once the design is approved or if a change is needed — embroidery only starts after that.
Can I return my order?+
Personalised products (with a name or a design based on your birth card) are made to your specifications and legally cannot be returned. For non-personalised items the usual 14-day right of withdrawal applies.

Delivery & shipping
How long until my order is ready?+
Every piece is made to order, so production time is added on top of shipping. You always see your estimated delivery date at checkout, before you pay. Need it faster? There's a rush option.
How is it shipped?+
Shipping is done with track & trace via a parcel service, or you can pick up your order. Above a certain amount shipping is free; the exact cost and options are shown at checkout.
Do you also ship outside Belgium?+
The available countries and shipping options are shown at checkout.

How do I track my order?+
Your confirmation email contains a personal link to follow your order at any time: the status, the estimated delivery date and — once your parcel is on its way — the carrier's track & trace link.
Materials & safety
Which materials do you use?+
Only high-quality materials. Almost all our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified (Standard 100): tested for harmful substances and safe for baby skin — only Klaver Brons is not OEKO-TEX certified. Certificates are available for the certified fabrics.
Are the beads safe for babies?+
Yes. I only work with high-quality baby-safe beads (food-grade silicone and certified wood). That means no risk of PFAS or microplastics — exactly the concern with cheap, low-quality beads.
Are the products pre-washed?+
Yes. Everything is washed beforehand to prevent shrinking and warping, so your purchase keeps its shape beautifully.
Can I see the certificates?+
Of course.
Just request them via the contact form and I'll send you the certificates of the materials used.
Care & washing
How do I wash my Wastikikier product?+
Wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C, preferably inside out and with similar colours. Avoid the dryer and bleach — that keeps the fabric and embroidery beautiful for a long time.
And a pacifier cord with beads?+
A pacifier cord doesn't go in the washing machine. Wipe the beads clean with a damp cloth and let everything dry thoroughly.

Are the pacifier cords made safely?+
The pacifier cords are made according to the European safety standard for soother holders (EN 12586): a limited, safe length and a clip with ventilation openings.
What should I watch out for myself?+
Always use a pacifier cord under supervision and never attach it in a bed or crib, and never around the neck. Remove it during sleep, check it regularly for wear and stop using it as soon as it's damaged.
Returns, payment & gifts
Can I return a personalised product?+
Personalised and made-to-measure products are legally excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned. Is something wrong with your order anyway? Get in touch and we'll find a solution together.

How can I pay?+
Securely via Mollie, with Bancontact and the usual cards among others. After placing your order you're redirected to the secure payment environment.
Can I order something as a gift?+
