our fabrics
A short guide to choosing your fabric
For every piece you choose the fabric yourself. This guide helps you decide: where our materials come from, what a certificate means and how to keep everything beautiful.
Carefully chosen materials
We work only with high-quality fabrics from reputable merchants, specially made for baby and children's items: soft, skin-friendly and carefully selected for quality and softness.
OEKO-TEX® — transparent per fabric
If a fabric has an OEKO-TEX® certificate (STANDARD 100), it has been tested for harmful substances under that label. You can see the certificate per fabric when choosing on the product page. Fabrics without a certificate are not inferior — they are also carefully selected for quality and softness and simply don't (yet) carry that specific label.
Pre-washed and easy to care for
Everything is pre-washed to prevent shrinking and warping, so your purchase keeps its shape. Wash on a gentle cycle and avoid the tumble dryer for the longest life.
Which fabric for what?
Every fabric has its strength. Here's how to choose at a glance:
Heavy drooling and teething
Three-layer muslin, bamboo terry or stretch terry — these soak up the most and still feel dry.
Everyday bibs and cloths
Muslin and waffle cotton: airy, quick to dry and softer with every wash. The classics.
For cuddling and bundling up
Minky, mini cable and ribbed loopback are fluffy and snug — made for comforters and blankets.
Sturdy and timeless, day after day
Rib jersey, cotton jersey and baby knit keep their shape and set off an embroidered name beautifully.
