2. Which data and why

We only process what's needed to handle your order and contact you: your name, email address, shipping/pick-up details, order and payment details, and (optionally) an uploaded birth announcement for the personalisation. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. For logged-in customers we also store your wishlist, so you find it back on your account.

3. Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We work with processors that help us run the shop: payment (Mollie), email (Brevo), shipping (MyParcel and the carriers) and hosting/database (Vercel, Supabase). Only with your consent do we also use visitor statistics (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) and advertising conversion measurement (Meta, Pinterest). Our Instagram feed (Behold) shows our recent photos and loads images from an external service to do so; for reviews we simply link out to Trustpilot. These parties process data solely on our behalf. We keep your data no longer than necessary; order and invoice data are retained for as long as the legal accounting retention period requires (usually 7 years).

4. Retention period

We keep order data as long as needed for fulfilment and the legal (accounting) retention obligation. An uploaded birth announcement that isn't linked to an order is cleaned up automatically.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your data. Send your request via the contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

6. Cookies & statistics

We only use functional cookies/storage needed to make the site work (e.g. your cart and your session). For visitor statistics we use a cookieless, privacy-friendly measurement (Vercel Analytics) that places no cookies and stores no personal data. Visitor statistics (Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics) and advertising and conversion measurement (Meta pixel and Pinterest) are only loaded after you consent in the cookie banner; you can change that choice at any time.
